Not even nominated I don’t think. SLC was track 6 (although on side 2!!! - doesn’t matter though). Some of their best stuff not released on the original albums unfortunately.

Yeah. Most of my favorite JD tracks are singles.101Walterton wrote: ↑03 May 2020, 4:29pmNot even nominated I don’t think. SLC was track 6 (although on side 2!!! - doesn’t matter though). Some of their best stuff not released on the original albums unfortunately.

My personal favorite is Transmission, but Atmosphere, Dead Souls, Love Will Tear Us Apart, Digital...101Walterton wrote: ↑03 May 2020, 5:25pmAtmosphere top of list.Wolter wrote: ↑03 May 2020, 5:09pmYeah. Last chance, track 6 poll going up in the morning NZT.
Re: The Ultimate Album Track 6
I would have nominated New Dawn Fades for track 5 if I had thought of JD more quickly, I agree with the tracks named above.Wolter wrote: ↑03 May 2020, 8:55pmMy personal favorite is Transmission, but Atmosphere, Dead Souls, Love Will Tear Us Apart, Digital...101Walterton wrote: ↑03 May 2020, 5:25pmAtmosphere top of list.Wolter wrote: ↑03 May 2020, 5:09pmYeah. Shadowplay is my fave after the performance on Something Else.laxman wrote: ↑04 May 2020, 7:05amI would have nominated New Dawn Fades for track 5 if I had thought of JD more quickly, I agree with the tracks named above.Wolter wrote: ↑03 May 2020, 8:55pmMy personal favorite is Transmission, but Atmosphere, Dead Souls, Love Will Tear Us Apart, Digital...101Walterton wrote: ↑03 May 2020, 5:25pmAtmosphere top of list.Wolter wrote: ↑03 May 2020, 5:09pmYeah. Looks like the Addams Family were influenced by Ian Curtis' dance on Something Else;Marky Dread wrote: ↑04 May 2020, 7:07amShadowplay is my fave after the performance on Something Else.

I'll be nominating 24 Hours in a few tracks. Definitely should have done Passover earlier.

I had to go and listen to it, to know what it was. Yes, a good one. Track 7, by the way. My favourite off that album is Track 8 I think, The Eternal.
By the way, my actual tack 6 nomination would have been Feel Good Inc by Gorillaz (on Demon Days) with definite honourable mentions for Look of Love (ABC, Lexicon of Love) and Stool Pigeon (Kid Creole, Tropical Gangsters) and In A Rut (Ruts, Grin & Bare It), but there were loads of others too.
Plus I hadn't realised that Sixteen was Track 6 on the first Buzzcocks album and Sixteen Again track 6 on the second album.

Re: The Ultimate Album Track 6
And track 6 of the third album is "Raison d’Etre" and that's the most important reason or purpose for someone or something's existence.laxman wrote: ↑04 May 2020, 2:04pmI had to go and listen to it, to know what it was.
