Rebel, Rebel - Bowie (depends on whether your Diamond Dogs CD splits up Sweet Thing/Candidate/Sweet Thing reprise into different tracks. Mine does)
Definitely nominating Big Brother later on. Holy shit what a song. Just a shame that Chant probably wouldn't be appended.

This is not a position where most tracklistings put their best songs.

State Trooper - Bruce Springsteen
1, 3, 5, 7 is the formula, I find.

I’d go for:
4/5 1,2,3,6. (7 up there with 4/5).

You often find a change of pace at track 3 which is why I tried to get Burden if Shame picked after opening 2 bangers.

Diamond Dogs is such an “album” album. Side one is six tracks oN CD, but I consider it three total songs. And Chant is definitely the outro to Big Brother and makes no sense as a stand-alone.

Have any Joy Division tracks been nominated for any of the first 6 tracks yet? I suspect the lack of track listing on the album sleeves means no-one knows what any of them are called!

I'll nominate She's Lost Control, off Unknown Pleasures.
