I'm torn between wanting Devo to win versus this ending in another tie.

You can vote for the one you don’t want to win if you like.

Yes!
 ;)

I actually read a stat the other day that the Germans have missed ONE penalty in the history of Euro and World Cup shoot outs. Unreal.

Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Hearing the shrieks of Bowie fans does hold some appeal, yes.

I have no emotional stake in this, but this Devo song is one of the most overplayed in the history of music. However, the compilation seems to be coming out pretty beige already, so...

Whereas I see "Whip It" as a rare and beautiful moment when art punk bled into the mainstream. It may not be Devo's best song, but the fact that any Devo song reached national awareness is really excellent.

So many better Devo songs, whereas that Bowie song is an all timer that was never even a single.
