I can't wait to throw the nom for next track to Permafrost. It won't win, but it will be out there.

Good point - if The Kids Are Alright makes it, change my selection to "We've Been Had" by The Walkmen please101Walterton wrote: ↑12 May 2020, 3:32pmLove this track but keep an eye on track 7 poll as The Who may take that out which would make this ineligible. Have a second choice in mind.

Next time, my pick will be one that I'll be genuinely disappointed when it doesn't win support: These New Puritans, "Elvis," which is in my top three singles of the past twenty years (maybe even number one).

That's their strongest track - and a really good track overall. I'll probably throw something else out there (I keep trying to get something outside the box going - happily surprised Robert Gordon got a couple of votes) but Elvis could get my other votes.

The whole album is really good. Unfortunately, the band's creative interests since haven't been as appealing. No less strange, but not as compelling to me.gkbill wrote: ↑12 May 2020, 6:39pmHello,Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑12 May 2020, 6:25pmNext time, my pick will be one that I'll be genuinely disappointed when it doesn't win support: These New Puritans, "Elvis," which is in my top three singles of the past twenty years (maybe even number one).

My other option for the next round is one of my favourite songs of all time, Trashcan Sinatras' "The Genius I Was," but I know that'd get zero interest so I'll be a bit political and go with something that might beter catch some ears.

I genuinely hope my nomination is a winner!!
I wanted this track to be a slower or dub song after all the belters we have had and so far there have been some great nominations that fit the criteria however none so perfectly as this:
Jah War - The Ruts
