No, I'm sober. Black Sabbath would have been known as hippies in early 70s Britain. Long haired, dope smoking layabouts. It wasn't all peace and love.

Being a hippie meant more than just long hair and dope. That bleakness was a massive departure from hippiedom. Sabbath signalled as much as the Beatles break-up that the Sixties were over.
