Not even a new and improved one?
A refined one?
Yeah who am I kidding.

I have made an effort to be less negative and knee jerk about some stuff (Adele).
There are so many worthier targets than her.
I mostly shoot em as they come up.
Like fish in a barrel.

Nothing wrong with the Adele song. If it had been made in 1968 everybody would fawning over it.
Uhh ...raises hand.

It could be good with a different delivery/arrangement/production.
I can't really see the problem with any of those things. It's not a song I would voluntarily play but it has an organic production which is absolutely fine.
I might nominate it in a poll of performances by women but I’d never play it!!

Ok that makes ZERO sense to me. I would only nominate and vote for songs I would want to hear.

Yeah. I don’t even nominate second songs on here if someone picks my choice already.

I'm into picking second choice songs just because the nomination process is where I find goodies I may not have heard before, so the more the merrier. The reality is the familiar will always win the day on the actual voting, but the edifying, taste expanding exercise here is in the initial picks and sharing.

Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead

Surely there are enough female artists that you don't need to pick something you don't like?

Yeah this. I haven't yet nominated a song for any of this that I dont actively enjoy listening to and own.

I don’t dislike the song and I enjoy it if it comes on the radio. I may not chose to play it at home however as a performance I can appreciate it.
