I'm going to wait to see which song can mount the best counter-attack to Tracey Ullman, if I'm being honest.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

Jesus, I missed that someone nominated another Tracey Ullman song. Yeesh.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Heston, of course. And it's the same song, but now it's eligible. I'm really curious to see whether its notoriety is held against it this time around.

I have to say Hoy's choice was pretty decent. Id never listened to them before.

I want to vote Pretenders but Chrissy's behavior of late pisses me off.

Whats she done? Read a few interviews where she comes off a bit crabby but nothing very outrageous. BIP isnt one of my favourite Pretenders songs.

I guess it wasnt as bad as I remembered. It was where she was thanking Trump for giving the Medal of Freedom to Rush Limbaugh. There's also the support for Julian Assange...

The Interrupters and Tori Amos, even if I've always thought of her as a Kate Bush wannabe, Cornflake Girl is a cool song.

I went with YYYs and Pretenders. I like the Interrupters and have started digging into them, but I can't get past how similar they are to Rancid. Love me some Tori Amos but that one is far from my favorite of hers. Beehive song is pretty good, I hadn't heard it before, but giving the edge to the bigger songs.
