The Ultimate Women's Album - Side 2 Track 5 Nominations

Post by Dr. Medulla »

In the biggest landslide of any Round 3 vote, Donna Summer felt IMCT's love, gaining 80% support. Deep inside everyone's heart is a glittery disco ball.

Updating what we have:
Blondie, "Hanging On the Telephone"
The Breeders, "Cannonball"
Dusty Springfield, "Son of a Preacher Man"
ABBA, "SOS"
Althea & Donna, "Uptown Top Ranking"
Kate Bush, "Wuthering Heights"

Nina Simone, "To be Young, Gifted, & Black"
Garbage, "Stupid Girl"
The Pretenders, "Brass in the Pocket"
Donna Summer, "I Feel Love"

Side 2, Track 5 … go! (Also, keep double-checking with discogs, please.)

A public service announcement. I can't officially nominate anything, but if anyone is willing to adopt this waif, I'd be pleased.

Star, "Liars in Love"

Thanks, man. You're confirmed at the top of my will—my prized Paul Anka autograph collection.

I'm not sure this is right. It's listed as track 11 on Bedtime Stories. Discogs overwhelms my brain. ????

Madonna, Take a Bow

You got lucky. The standard non-cd version had five songs on Side 1 and six on Side 2, with "Take a Bow" the closer. Except for this limited edition: https://www.discogs.com/Madonna-Bedtime ... ase/572838

So it's in.

Nope, sorry. The only vinyl version is a double lp, where's it's Side 4, Track 3. It would have been eligible for Side 2, Track 3, but not Track 5.
