The Ultimate Women's Album - Side 2 Track 5 Vote - Round 1a
We've got six songs here, let's get it down to one or two.
"Ah-ha-ha! Ever get the feeling you've been cheated? Good night." - Abraham Lincoln, Ford's Theatre, 14 April 1865

Somehow all four of the ones I want to vote for are in this section and none made it to the other the b section. Ah, well.

Crass and Interrupters it is.
That Crass song is great - the album, Penis Envy, is still one of the great female-fronted punk albums of the genre and the lyrics are sharp and biting. Crass lets there be a bit more space in this song that some of their others, and it really brings the singing and lyrics into relief, which is great. Despite a lot of visually aesthetic imitators, this song is a great example of how Crass was really in a world of their own. Accept no substitutes or imitators.
And the Interrupters obviously I've made the case for before.

Voted for Au Pairs and Crass. First time hearing the Crass, this was really good.
