Interrupters advocates are sounding like Hillary people in 2016—after all those failures, she deserves it this time. :shifty:

That's the sort of thing I hate. I'll take 80% of their songs over 80% of what's on this creation of Hoyston hell spawn

Not sure how I'm getting dragged into this. My choices went nowhere. In fact you liked one of my choices. These results are pure English Gen X material.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Nationality breakdown so far is 6 USAmerican, 4 Thatcheranian, 1 ABBAlander. And, surprisingly, only 2 songs from the 80s.

My apologies as you are correct in terms of your choices not making it. It sort of one of those terms that has developed a meaning that sort of fits the situation in that it generally signifies awfulness on a grandiose scale.

I think the track listing is actually pretty good, despite my griping. It's just more Rolling Stone Magazine than Pitchfork or Maximum Rock N Roll (and the latter two get more representation in the nominations so that's where a lot of fun of exploration is to be had).
