Beatles Survivor Poll - Please Please Me Side B / Round 2

"A Taste of Honey" was a runaway loser in this round. It took 13 of the 16 votes cast.

I'm again casting a vote for "Do You Want to Know a Secret" as I think it's a weak song. George's vocal is crap and the whole thing sounds like it belongs on a Disney soundtrack album, which makes sense considering John apparently ripped the melody off from a Disney song.

Much tougher for me now. It becomes a bit of a coin toss for me, leaving aside "Love Me Do" and "Twist and Shout" which should go to the final two. "Baby It's You," I guess.

I'll jump on the vote off do you want to know a secret bandwagon. Not really a bad song in the batch, but i guess if I'm picking nits I'd say this one meanders a bit.

There's two songs that NEVER get played even on the Beatles own satellite station, Ask Me Why and The-e-e-e-eh, There's a Place. The-e-e-e-eh, there's a reason.

Baby It's You has a fantastic vocal from Lennon. It's also got a great sense of mood and it's got an interesting middle eight.
