AHDN - Side B - Round 4

Post by WestwayKid »

"I'll Cry Instead" voted off.

I really like all the songs remaining on this side. Voting is going to get really, really tough.

This has really pained me as I love the song but went with YCDT.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

TCDT is top 5 Beatles song for me.

I did too.

I understand this is a tough choice, but I’m actually angry at everyone picking TWST. THIS SHOULD BE CLOSER.

It's right up there with my favourite Beatles tracks but some strong competition to put it mildly. 3 absolute corkers left here.

"Any Time At All" because Heston deserves his comeuppance.

At the risk of further alienation, TWST is just a tad dull compared to the other 2.

Things We Said Today is one of McCartney's best Beatle songs.

Consider yourself alienated.

Agreed. I don't understand the "dull" comment. It kind of simmers nicely then bursts into life on the choruses. Some great chord changes and a wonderful melody.

You know it's gonna win the whole album, don't you?

Can't see it beating the title track, but then awful people do dwell amongst us.
