My rationale continues to be stab Heston in the eye.

Boy, this is tough but I'm sticking with Any Time At All for the win. YCDT is such a great song though.

Any Time At All for me but they're both quality tracks. You Can't Do That though is just that bit better for me, think it's the cowbell, does funny things to me.

Everybody's Greeeeeeee-eeeen. Cuz it's the one who won the poll.

The poll is reflecting how close they are in quality. As much as You Can't Do That rocks hard and is brilliant, Anytime At All has one of my favourite Lennon vocals. The way his voice goes from the agitated chorus to that relaxed verse just gets me every time.

Someone needs to break this tie. Our polling system is not equipped for such contingencies.

I believe in past polls both advanced to the next round.WestwayKid wrote: ↑30 Oct 2020, 10:25amSomeone needs to break this tie. Our polling system is not equipped for such contingencies.

I suggest we let Doctor Medulla decide. That worked pretty well in the other poll.

Westway ran the Clash survivor poll, so he *should* know how it was handled, but I think you're right. (Much as I like Olaf's "Let Medulla screw over Heston" solution.)Wolter wrote: ↑30 Oct 2020, 10:34amI believe in past polls both advanced to the next round.WestwayKid wrote: ↑30 Oct 2020, 10:25amSomeone needs to break this tie. No. I have a point to prove here. Doc insisted Any Time At All was an also ran and wouldn't cut the mustard in this poll. I want to keep turning the screw.

I guess if you down a couple glasses of absinthe and squint, I guess that's what I said. I said it wouldn't beat the title track and that my opposition is just to smash your testicles. I mean, come on, it's yet another great Beatles song.
