Great track, the dynamics are brilliant. Those mellow verses that break out into the near hysteria of the chorus and bridge. Excellent acoustic guitar playing too. Should win the album.

It's a fantastic song. I agree on the excellent acoustic guitar work from John and George. That said, I'm a Loser is also a fantastic track. I love Harrison's guitar tone on that one.

No Reply also has an excellent inventive performance from Ringo. This is one I usually point out when people rag on his drumming.

One of my biggest musical pet peeves is when people rag on Ringo's drumming. I can only assume they're repeating something they've heard and don't actually know much about music.

Yep. That old Jasper Carrott joke (often attributed to Lennon) about Ringo not even being the best drummer in the Beatles has a lot to answer for.
