I'm gonna keep voting for Here, There and Everywhere because it is hideously cloying.

I like every single song on this album it turns out. Even the ones other people hate.

I like 'Rigby.' But Martin should have learnt the lesson from Yesterday and just let the song be without over-orchestrating. Let them play bass, guitar and drums, it's the idiom that fits 'em best.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑14 Dec 2020, 12:47pmI'm with you here, tho I'm first targeting the mopey "Eleanor Rigby."Silent Majority wrote: ↑14 Dec 2020, 12:17pmI'm going to continue the trend by voting for Taxman. I may well be more sympathetic if not for the retrograde effort at "respectability" with those strings. It works against the forward-thinking of the record as a whole. And three votes off the bat for "She Said"? Wow. I saw that as a song that wouldn't get a single negative vote until the latter rounds when nuts get cut.

Re: Revolver - Side A - Round 2
I really like She Said She Said. It is a fantastic track. Great playing throughout (Ringo never sounded better). George's lead riff is great. Lennon's vocal delivery is spot on, druggy, yet tough. Paul's bass is buried a bit too far in the mix, but listen closely - it's really, really good.
There is just no world in which this track deserves to be eliminated this early. It's not as good as I'm Only Sleeping, but better than everything else on this side.

Is it that outlandish a claim? I just did a cursory search of Beatles songs ranked and it was at number 12. And that's their whole output.
