2 votes for AYBCS at least 3 rounds too early. Explainations?

Yeah, I'm puzzled.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

I fancy AYBCS and For No One against Tomorrow Never Knows.

Re: Revolver - Side B - Round 3
I almost feel like TNK is at an unfair disadvantage here. Being it's so inventive and doesn't follow traditional song patterns. It's in a field of it's own for the time. If it belonged on a whole album of similar style tracks I wonder how it would fare.
Comparing it to a great tune like AYBCS seems wrong. As they are so going in completely different directions.

For all the musical adventurousness of Tomorrow Never Knows, at heart it's a well-played song with good lyrics, a good beat, and a good tune. And that's really all I look for.

Hmmm maybe mate. I wonder how people would feel about it if all the inventive bits were stripped away.Silent Majority wrote: ↑16 Dec 2020, 8:41amFor all the musical adventurousness of Tomorrow Never Knows, at heart it's a well-played song with good lyrics, a good beat, and a good tune. Here's an acoustic cover of the track. It's nice but not extraordinary.

Here's an okay Lennon impersonator having a pop. It's a bit Imagine-y, to be fair. Needs some fucked-up drums.Marky Dread wrote: ↑16 Dec 2020, 8:48amHmmm maybe mate.
