The first time I heard Walrus, it was by Oasis on a B Side and I loved it, good rock track, great rhythm. Then I discovered it was a cover so went to find the original. I liked it, and still do but it felt a little flat in comparison.
I'm not saying the Oasis version is better but...

That Oasis live version is actually ok. But the Beatles track is a masterpiece! Go and listen to it on a decent set of cans and rethink your foolishness.
