The poll that never ends... ;)

Post by WestwayKid »

Do you all realize started this poll over 3 months ago! I think it will easily be 4 plus by the time we're done.

I bet you hope you're not in charge for the Rolling Stones poll.

Muppet would have to come back and be the sole voter for anything post-1978.

Ha! I have some thoughts about Tattoo You, but that's about it.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Hello,

I'm actually much better with later Stones - Some Girls, Emotional Rescue, Undercover, A Bigger Bang, Blue and Lonesome....there's a lot of hit and miss.

Undercover is a gem of a record.

Agreed. It came on the radio the other week on Pick of the Pops and it sounded fucking great.

I like Too Much Blood from the Undercover album. Real dark stuff for later Stones.

I think he still pops in now and again, though unfortunately rare these days. I liked his posts, he's a knowledgeable guy.
