The remix of Hey Bulldog on the Yellow Submarine Songtrack absolutely slays. Much better than the original mix.

There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

You're not usually right, but when you are you're right as hell.

Here's a question for the remaster junkies: when they remastered all the albums and put out those cardboard issues, they included the songtrack. Did they use the remix or revert to the original mixes?

The info on the Wiki w/ the copyright still saying 1999 on the disc would suggest it uses the remixes from the original 1999 release.

The mixing on the Yellow Submarine Songtrack album should have been the template for all future Beatles reissues.
