Abbey Road - Side B - Round 1

Post by WestwayKid »

I decided to pull "Golden Slumbers", "Carry That Weight", and "The End" together into one track (thank you for the suggestion, Heston). Every other track will stand on its own.

So far so good. Any vote not for Her Majesty should disqualify anyone from voting again.

Her Majesty, obviously. I think I need to amend my opinion of this side slightly upwards. I think I said before there were 1-2 tracks I actually like but I think there are actually 3.

I love pretty much the whole side other than the useless Majesty, but I love it as a whole piece, not so much individual parts, so it’s going to be tricky going the first few rounds after HM is booted.

There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Wasn’t me. That’s my favorite of the side, possibly the album.

It's my second favourite Beatles song and I'm literally outraged.
