Though "I Want You" reminds me of the similarly excellent "Lover's Rock," it pales in comparison to the other two.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

While being notable as a Beatles song for being built on the bassline, Come Together is played OUT.

That's not the song's fault for being overplayed though.

It's going next round for me. Oh! Darling is infinitely better.

Me, it thinks it's cooler than it is.

No, but it's impossible to be objective with a band this old and popular. I'm just tired of the song.

I love come together, if only because my cousins and I used to sing a parody of it about our evil aunt Susan (just ask Flex - he knows her evil).

If you vote for Come Together you also have to vote for 3 other Morris Levy owned songs.

I gotta get Kory's take on MJ's version:

The bass playing is either great or terrible, I can't tell, but it's mixed way louder than anything else on the track.

Horrendous tone on the bass, there is no actual bass in it. This whole thing is disastrous on every level. I'm off to listen to Off the Wall.

Uh, I was asking the bass player for his opinion, not yours, six strings.

I suppose if you're a drummer you should be thankful for any musical advice offered.
