Come Together is good but Macca's vocal on OD puts it in another ballpark for me.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

I'm with you on this one. Just listened to Take 4 from the Super Deluxe AR - and man - it cooks. Fantastic track.

Come Together for reasons stated in the last round.

Both are great, but OD has that weird overly loud guitar picking section that just sounds bad. CT is pretty much perfect.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Yes, I had another listen tonight and that bit is mixed WAY too loud. I couldn't hold a mix issue against the song, though.

You absolutely can. Also, isn't this existence of this board predicated on the idea that Cut the Crap is just poorly mixed?

I thought it was predicated on whether or not Kiss suck?

Yes, I nearly added a CtC caveat to my post. I just think the strength of the vocal outweighs any mixing issues in this instance.

For me both songs are so great, I had to nitpick something.

Another poor decision by the board.
