I certainly like it, doesn't seem like an album winner though. I wanna be your man, though, there's like 4 bands who do it better.

As I recall, there was a lot of discussion about how it was very slim pickings on this album.

As I recall, there was a lot of discussion about how it was very slim pickings on this album.
Their best initial material was definitely frontloaded to
Please Please Me. Which is understandable given that most bands were a one- or two-hit-wonder. It's hard to appreciate how much the industry saw rock n roll as a fad that would pass at any given moment.
