Agreed.
My grandma actually used to sing this lullaby to me as a kid, though with the correct melody. I think the story was that Paul found the music, but couldn't read it so set the lyrics to his own melody.

I'll throw some Heston logic into the mix: Which charted higher and sold more copies as a single, "Come Together" or "Golden Slumbers" / "Carry That Weight" / "The End"? Heston logic says "Come Together" must be superior. In support of Heston logic, I voted against the medley. You're welcome, Heston.

it's ok, just give me up as gone. even if i pull through here, heston is bound to sincerely post something like this soon enough and do me in once and for all.

I don't really have an opinion, but I'm sick of Come Together after it's been overplayed to me in recent adverts.

Funny that Chuck Berry suing over the opening of Come Together lead to Lennon making a mediocre, overproduced covers album some years later.
