Revolution has done well to stay in this long as well. Great song but not upper echelon.

Sadly shit-upon song that for all its snarl, continues the Beatles' radical pacifism and faith in a common humanity. I'd be good with it in the final three.

We're aligning closer and closer as the songs whittle away. I think my ideal Final Four wold be Happiness, Rev, TNK, and SLYDr. Medulla wrote: ↑28 Apr 2021, 3:37pmSadly shit-upon song that for all its snarl, continues the Beatles' radical pacifism and faith in a common humanity. Substitute SFF for Happiness for me. If it were about covering styles or periods, TNK covers what SFF does and so Happiness should last, but if it's about flat-out preferences, SFF is my #2.Flex wrote: ↑28 Apr 2021, 3:47pmWe're aligning closer and closer as the songs whittle away. Don't get me wrong, it's nothing less than brilliant. Not one I'd have tipped at the start though.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑28 Apr 2021, 3:37pmSadly shit-upon song that for all its snarl, continues the Beatles' radical pacifism and faith in a common humanity. I'd be good with it in the final three.

Happiness has the added benefit of delightful Doo-Wop harmonies, a particularly American art form.Flex wrote: ↑28 Apr 2021, 3:52pmI gain extra listening pleasure from giving the Limeys hivesDr. Medulla wrote: ↑28 Apr 2021, 3:51pmSubstitute SFF for Happiness for me.
