The Ruts - The Crack

One of the finest albums released in '79.

The debut from The Undertones is another quality album.
I second the Ruts.

Can someone more industrious than me make a master list of all the 79 albums being nominated in total. I’m thinking about doing a huge dive now.

Nah, I expected shit to be sloppy during the prelims. Second round there can't be any additions and the standards required for survival go up. As it stands right now, four albums would be cut and four added. After that, things start getting trimmed.

So you're not actually going to list every album made in 1979. Damn there are so many others.

The goal is to make this a readable novel, not an endless fantasy series.

Hello,

I thought there was a Lithuanian release of Lodger on red vinyl only sold in record stores with odd (as opposed to even) street addresses in 1978 - that would disqualify it.

No, sir, I expect the wise assessment of the community has decided that KISS does not merit inclusion to the next round. No matter what else happens here, the voters have demonstrated their wisdom.

I'm just wondering who voted for it other than me. It has twice as many votes as the B-52s.
