Greatest Album of 1979 - Elimination Round 1
From around 25, we're down to 10. While sense has finally prevailed to get rid of KISS, along the way the voters decided to get rid of all American bands. Which is indeed a shame, imo.
Going forward, each day you will vote for the one to eliminate. In the event of a tie at end of a round, I'll pick the one to go. Otherwise, I won't vote.

Yeah, almost all the albums I was voting for were wiped out (the Slits remain, and I assumed LC would handily survive without my help), too bad.
Lest compelling album remaining for is setting sons. I expect that to be the album that make it to a final head to head matchup with LC, so I'll be voting for it to go every round through this whole exercise.

It’s my favorite Jam album but this list is so stacked I will probably join you soon. I’m not even sure where to begin.Flex wrote: ↑17 May 2021, 8:22amYeah, almost all the albums I was voting for were wiped out (the Slits remain, and I assumed LC would handily survive without my help), too bad.

The Slits don't make the cut for me.

Setting Sons is my favorite Jam album as too. I would anticipate it making it all the way to the final to go up against LC as well.

My vote too. I like it, but I like it less than what else is here

So someone actually voted to eliminate SLF at this point? Thinking the same person who voted to keep KISS going.

Well it wasn't me, SLF will make my last four along with The Clash, The Jam and the Specials.
