Greatest Album of 1979 - Elimination Round 7

Down with dorks who wear glasses and change their name to make people think they’re related to Lou Costello! Four left and things get choicier and choicier for our Limey Sophies.

SLF for the rough sound and iffy song. The Jam just have too much class.

This is extremely tough as these are four of my all time favourite albums in what in my opinion was the best year for music ever. Reluctantly going to pick The Jam.

I'm 100% in agreement with you. To me these remaining four are really the cream of the crop for the types of music I most listen to.

SLF gets the boot. An album where every other track is a classic and the lyrics are written by their manager.
