It'll be afternoon for us. Only the Limeys are in the evening.
You have all the answers dont ya.
I toldja all in the first post that I set it up with Limeys in mind. 9 pm for them 1 pm for Hoylifornia, which means 4 pm for those of us in God's One True Time Zone.
I didn't get a copy :shifty:
I believe I've had you in every class I've ever taught.
Its people like me that make it all worthwhile.

Okay, I think the Doodly thingee has served its purpose. The one day everyone picked was 16 July—9 pm Limey time; 1pm Hoy time; figure out the others on your dime—so that's what we'll go with. I'll email people the link when we get closer to the day. If you didn't vote but still want to tell Flex to his face that The Exploited are, in actuality, a really shitty band, send me a PM and I'll provide you with the link.

Oh, just because a band makes crappy music they're a shitty band now? Wow, cancel culture really has gotten out of control.

I've created a Doodle poll
Keep it in your pants. Until the meeting, that is. I'll go. Whenever's good for me.

I'll PM you the link once I set it up (some time next week).

Belatedly voted. Not sure if it's still up, but I went for it.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Alas, I went with 16 July a few days ago (see upthread) because that was the one day everyone who had voted put on their good list. Hope you and Beaneater (who also voted yesterday; you two rigged the election for Biden, right?) can rearrange things.

Hadn't thought about whether to record. I'd say if anyone has concerns about it being recorded and posted (privately, of course), PM me. If one person says no, that should be sufficient.

Wife's 40th bday that day with stepbro in town, so unlikely. I'll see if I can figure out what time it is in my timezone and at least try to make a quick appearance.

It'll start at 1 pm on the West Coast. Very much understood if you can't say hi—happy birthday in advance to Mrs. Hoy!—but we’ll all hope you can pop in briefly.

Sounds good. Thanks for putting this together. The 16th should work for me - nothing currently on the calendar!!
