Oh shit happy birthday muppet! For your birthday I hope the rolling Stones finally consider releasing something that gets you excited about them
Like those long rumored Stones/Thunders demos.
What? You messing with me, Rev?
I've often entertained the idea of "what if the Stones had picked Johnny Thunders as the replacement for Mick Taylor in '75?" (answer: Johnny would have died within 2 1/2 weeks), but I've never heard any rumors of recordings. So you just messin' with me, man? Don't mess with me on this one, man...
Strong shoes is what we got and when they're hot they're hot!

Thank you, thank you, man! And WOW - I'd never heard any Motor Boys Motor stuff (is Doc Medulla aware of this stuff?). I'll say this: Bill Carter was a more convincing singer than Tony Moon, but you can clearly hear and feel the development of the Messiahs' sound and general modus operandi. Was this stuff ever officially released?

No not the Peel stuff. Just on single "Drive Friendly" and the self titled album. I've also got the 7" single by The Small Brothers who were Motor Boys Motor pre the name change. I'll upload it all when I get a chance.
Forces have been looting
My humanity
Curfews have been curbing
The end of liberty
We're the flowers in the dustbin...
No fuchsias for you.

As ever Marky your record collection mirrors mine. That Small Brothers single is a cracker.
Thanks for the Peel sessions links though- new to me
