I dont remember when I started
I'd guess around June 16th 2008 :)

Edit - just noticed that was 11 days before me.
That's post crash isn't it?
Oof... I assumed you were on mobile and didn't see the icons to the left.

Note to self - stop being a smart-alec. Totally forgot about the crash. I guess that's why a lot of us have similar join dates :)
Well you were correct Im on mobile but I also didn't presume you to be a smart ass.
Nice example of why we all keep coming back :)

I joined in 2006 when I was dating Marlene #1! I've made a ton of friends on this site, many who I've been fortunate enough to hang out with in person and the interactions have heavily influenced my political ideology and musical taste. I do regret a bit of my brasher and more immature posts in the first four or five years, but it is what it is.
Everyone's been an intolerable dick on here at least once. Even me :shifty:

The pros don't worry about style or ethics; they score the points and keep looking to build on the total.

Happy 20th anniversary, IMCT! Drinks are on me!
What's in the bags they are holding
I'd assume traditional Brotzeit stuff, but your guess is really as good as mine.
Say, Hans, what time is it?
Why, Fritz, it's bread time!

You miss 100% of the shots you don't take; there's no I in team; we gotta stand together or we'll fall apart; and crying is for sissies unless you lose the championship game.

Whoa, kory was on this in 2002? Must have been pretty young too. I guess Inder and Eumaas were also teens.

What was the story behind that comp? Each person pick a song?
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

An incredible achievement for IMCT to still be here at 20 and a remnant of The Old, Weird, Wild West Internet of days gone by. Nothing lasts forever, but here's hoping this place comes close.

To echo what others have said: this place has been here for me as I've grown up and through many phases of my life by now. Most of the people I count as my longest and closest friends reside right here on this site (or are alumns of it, if nothing else). What a place.

Thanks, Inder, for sacrificing your own sanity on the altar of this site for us.

Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

Incorrect. eumaas was 13 in mortal years; his Canaanite soul was 5013 years old.
