IMCT is 20!

Post by Inder »

This is the twenty-year anniversary of our humble Red Sox/Clash fansite.

I was still in high-school when we started and am now in my early late-30s. :shifty:

What a trip!

So this includes the Satch's days right? Or am I in a time warp?

Inder snapped Steve's fragile sanity with the name change in '08 or so? (I'm pretty sure I voted for Sandinista! Side 7, but we ended up with the easier initialism.)

It's been brought up before, but a big ol' Zoom gathering to celebrate a ridiculously long lifespan of a board is well deserved.

20, wow that's amazing. I first got on the internet in May 2001 and this was the first "board/scene/whatever its called these days" I ever joined, because I learned there were Clash bootlegs on the site, lol. This is SOOO much more than that, I quickly learned. I am thrilled to still be a part of it all. I am grateful for those who continue to keep it going.

The whole Red Sox thing though .....................

all I can say to that is ...............

1986

I'll get my coat ...................

Hello,

If Music Could Talk and I are both 20....imagine that!

Really, I can only imagine that - maybe wish - we were both 20! Regardless of our respective ages, this is a great community! Thanks to the creators and those responsible for it (Inder?)!

Thank you Inder for keeping the boiler well stoked up all this time… 20 years…
I think I joined just after Joe’s passing in 2002 or early 2003 so I don’t quite qualify for the old boys’ tie, but I remember that distant land of trading bootlegs by mail and the novelty of DVD-Rs… (pauses to polish rose-tinted specs)

I've been here since 2003, it's a mighty long ti-i-ime! Thanks Inder for holding it all together.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board
