I think that was pre-Crash. But that was dumb fun, yes.
It was post crash. Search "Bollywood" in thread titles but all the movies have been removed now.
Damn I have zero recollection of that thread and never posted in it. Looks like I missed out on some good fun.
too bad the clips are now deleted, I was wanting to re-visit that thread.
Oh shit, those were funny!
Don't remember that thread at all. But glad to know you guys had fun.
Who pfaffed the pfaff? Who got pfaffed tonight?

Was Flex's "you wrote a book you nerd" to Tep re: movie reviews this decade? That was a favourite.

While half-assedly looking for that—don't remember it—I stumbled upon the time Flex and tep called Wolter and me chicks: https://clashcity.com/boards/viewtopic. ... 65#p216965

You've written a book, you nerd.

I'm sure I find it as amusing as maj finds it terrifying that people mix the two of us up.

When I first joined, I confused Gutterpoet and eumaas or hookworm all the time. Can't remember.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Critics of the old Thought Police had the same problem.

I thought Matedog and Olaf were around for that thread. It was at the time of the release of The Clash at Shea Stadium. One of the clips I did was about that CD.

It used to be about the enforced correct thinking, and then money and ego and hookers and drugs ruined it all. Probably also Yoko.

Well, sure, the decadent decline was personally satisfying, but it was the social terror that was lost.

Can someone summarise the 20 years? I remember being here around 2005 but my account is newer than that. And it was called Satches forums back then?
