I know about this because it's proud Colorado history and agree it's a really neat little story. Little James is a little too young to get the concept of "tracking" Santa or whatever, but I think even by next year it'll be a fun exercise for him.

I've finally gotten old enough to let go of a certain cynicism (or maybe it's just kneejerk contrarianism) that I've cultivated since I was a kid, and can genuinely enjoy that kind of goofy fun for kids.
