Wishing you a very Happy Birthday today Flex!

Happy birthday to America's mayor!

What the hell can a person say about what you bring to the lives of the people here? A bold and humane ethical core that shapes your interaction with everyone here. A wry sense of life that manifests itself in wonderful silliness. A love of the finest team that plays the finest sport. Thought Police emeritus of the highest standing. A very mixed bag in terms of favourite music (no, not even on your birthday can I ignore that). I don't think there's a single person here who thinks of themselves as an active member of this community that does not regard you fondly and with serious respect. It's damned near impossible to find unanimity amongst this batch of jerks, but I'd bet the deed to Olaf's racoon ranch that you could pull it off on that point. Play your music loud today (but please play something good.)

Everyone sees the giant scissors; only those on the inside see the mayor's giant crackpipe.

Your love of the Exploited bemuses me but I shall wish you the happiest of days anyway.

Happy Birthday Sexy Flexy. Mike Love is off of Cameo now, unfortunately. I thought about getting the shitty white reggae Mike Love to do one as if he were Beach Boy Mike Love, but figured he probably wouldn't go for that.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.
