The funny thing is that Spamhaus (Olaf's mountain lair) said my IP was clean. Any VPN I tried also got dinged.

I just (coincidentally I believe) tried posting from my PC and it worked. But yeah it was weird because the link to Spamhaus certified my IP as clean.

Test test, one two, one two. I'm still being intermittently being blocked at as a spamlord.

So unfair. I’ve even shifted my attitude toward the Leafs to “hope they win once in my lifetime.”

If anyone is getting the spamhaus message, just keep hitting Submit and it will eventually go thru.

Hey google pixel people (if there are any), my old trust pixel 3 is finally on its very, very last legs. Was looking at the new pixel 6 but I am, if nothing else, a bargain hunter so was wondering if I should try to get a pixel 5 on the cheap or if the upgrade to the 6 with its tensor chip is worth just paying sticker price and riding it until it dies (the 5 years of updates is very attractive).

Question: Does anybody have experience using a lcd tv as a computer monitor? I've noticed that the price of tv's are much cheaper than the price of comparable-sized monitors, so I'm a bit curious about the experience. I understand there are issues of lagtime in tv, but I'm not a gamer—I use my computer for writing, typical internet goof-offery, and Zoom stuff—so would this be a meaningful concern?

I've used a TV as a monitor in a pinch before, but never for too long. I've always found it somewhat fatiguing on my eyes. This article suggests pixel density may be the culprit: https://www.pcworld.com/article/427564/ ... -know.html

That said, if you are in a situation where you can return it if you don't like it, I'd give it a try.
