Well, I did minor in definition stretching at the Sorbonne.
You've got the brains, I've got the looks—let's make lots of money.
That song is older than you, I think!
No, I'm three years older than it. But we did both work with the same producer (he hates bass players—Hooky and Alan Dias have confirmed what I suspected).
Huh. I thought you hadn't hit 40 yet.

Weird for a guy known for producing dance-oriented rock to be hostile to bassists. Maybe it's something as basic as a bass player stole his girlfriend once.
Well, I should say he hates bass—he doesn't mix it prominently and that leaves these guys (and me) feeling cold.

I looked him up on Wikipedia and saw he produced New Order's "World in Motion," which should have put him (and them) in the dock at The Hague.

Best of luck mate.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

You'll be missed but I'm excited about new projects. Hoping for more Bruce reviews soon as well!
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.
