An IMCT observation: Who would have thought as the year began that the most significant songs of the year for the board would be:
Black Sabbath, "Paranoid"
Tracey Ullman, "They Don't Know"
The Beatles, "Eleanor Rigby"

Fun fact: Heston was on the wrong side of all three.
Hey, Tracey Ullman won against all the odds. It was just an oversight by myself that saw it get disqualified.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

That and the suspicions of a Bavarian who knows the English can't be trusted.

Anyway, let's see who's on the wrong side when we get down to the last four Beatles songs.

SFF is my second-favourite Beatles song. I'm confident that it and maybe TNK can make the final four.

Well I predicted SFF will make the last two, along with A Day In the Life. There's another I mentioned that I think will do well. I don't think TNK will be up there, or Revolution.

SFF, ADitL, Revolution are my expectations for the Final Four. I'm more skeptical that any pre-Rubber Soul song will survive that far.

If somebody changed the letters to IMCT, we'd have a lovely group shot.

It wasn't all thin soup and dried bread for Brezhnev's children; there was also a down side.

While looking for scholarly studies on KISS for a lecture I'm writing, I found out another part of our lord and master's online empire.

Do we get to see/hear this KISS lecture? I hope I get a credit.

Ha! Maybe I'll post a trial run of it. Either that or when I do it in, I think, late March. You'll hate it.

Then everyone wins! Anyway, I'm not in a huge hurry writing this, so it'll be awhile.
