With the Ashes/World Cup looming, got me thinking if anyone here takes an interest in cricket? Just to save me making a thread and having a conversation with myself for 20 odd pages.

I do but only really the Ashes. Not bothered about limited overs and definitely not 20/20 kids cricket.
Would happily watch a (good) 5 day Ashes test.

Though I'll happily watch all forms of the game, test cricket is the king and hopefully will be for many years. Can't think of any other sport as exciting as the final day of a test where the game could be won by either side.

I've only caught glimpses of cricket while in pubs and here and there. I dont see it catching on here because the youngins already bitch about a 3 hour baseball game.

So any of the UK/Brit contingent gonna watch any of the Yankees vs Red Sox games at the end of June? I'm hoping the Yankees can be back at full strength by then.
