I come here for a few reasons firstly it was for The Clash chat etc. I come for fun/having the crack and a little good natured piss-taking. But most importantly there are good people here.
Aye, me too. What's amusing to me is that the Clash were never my favourite band and, if anything, the discussion here has soured me a bit. There's no love lost between CK and I (I think that's safe to say), but I hope he'd appreciate the humour that he helped lessen my basic enjoyment listening to the Clash because of his bitter criticism. But I stay here because, holy fuck, it's attracted a diverse collection of really smart, funny, and decent people. It's rare. Who the hell would turn down that kind of community?

Top 5 worst threads of all time.

5. Some other Heston thread
Chuck's proto-punk thread says, "Fuck you, I was pretty bad!"
It did at least provide a modicum of joy as brief as the most brief(est) thing.
Never letting Chuck forget it is the real joy.
You see there was joy to be found.

Let me know who the good ones are we can compare notes.

I’m not the first to say it, but these survivor polls have really reminded me how much I love the Clash.

The problem with that track is it's never been proven to be The Clash.

Well I guess if it is The Clash or even a couple of members at least it just a jam never meant to be heard outside of private tapes. It does have the feel of a CR session. But I don't think it's ever been claimed so who knows.
