With that and the pants how could you miss?Flex wrote: ↑06 Feb 2023, 5:27pmI distinctly remember getting it for Christmas (along with the first Dave Matthews / Tim Reynolds live album ) and being like "finally, I'm on the bleeding edge of popular music. Surely I'll be one of the cool kids now." Ah, well, about that...
(I do like the album tho)

Re: The IMCT observations thread
Forgiveness is personal to the individual. The point here is you felt the need to say sorry. Whether you deserved forgiveness or not you still wanted to be heard and wanted to make that effort to acknowledge you were the one in the wrong and let those you hurt know.matedog wrote: ↑06 Feb 2023, 5:16pmGiving my $0.02, I went through a similar situation. I had been meaning to email someone that I had wronged. And it took my years to get around to it, which is shitty. But when I finally starting doing it, I tried to think of where they were coming from and what I was really trying to accomplish with my apology. In the process, I realized I shouldn't expect and didn't deserve forgiveness. In the end, I acknowledged that and basically told the person that I realized how shitty it was, didn't expect any kind of forgiveness, but wanted to make sure they knew that I knew that I was shitty.
The person never responded. Not sure if they got the email or not, but again, they don't owe me anything.
We live with our mistakes and to move forward accepting blame is the first step at least to being a better person.

I assure you, if any of us have a time machine and visit a young Flex, we'll be drowning you in a tub and invoking a better timeline.

Rocks to see a post on here I fundamentally disagree with politically, then ignore it and move on with my day. What would a chat with someone about NATO and Russia add? Ah, sweet merciful perspective.

An IMCT Observation: On 1 April 2023, Inder unmasked himself to be a figure of contemptible evil.

Peg is a hot jam. Played it in jazz band in high school. Might be worth checking out more per Inder’s recs.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.
