I am so torn between being genuine amused by the fact that MarkyJ comes back here every few years just to be a humorless dick and genuinely wondering if he does the rounds of other places and runs out of clouds to yell at before returning.
Heston beautifully captured it back during the BAD survivor poll:

Why bother commenting then? Are you this much hard work in real life or is it an online thing?

We are less than two years away from IMCT is 20 threads: viewtopic.php?p=272108#p272108

Fuck that makes me feel so old. Joining in 2006, 2006-2012 feels twice as long as 2012-now.

I'll have been been talking bollocks on here for 17 years in December. That is quite scary.

Remarkable to have survived that long, especially for a band that closed shop 35 years ago, and none of the members have been that musically active during most of the board's existence. I think it's clear that the binding force is the membership—that is, those couple dozen who belong to the "post count whore" clique—rather than the nominal raison d'etre.

True enough. But even in Clash World we've dissected and discovered things that I don't see covered on, say, Facebook Clash groups. You can usually count on this place for breaking news and insider insights.

That's fair. When a Clash topic does emerge, people are still engaged enough to pick it apart. That's another thing that I love about the people here—y'all don't confuse love with reverence. You know how to be critical while undeniably still being advocates.

I'd say people want to tickle you more than revere you. But that's just reading between the lines.

Having met Inder he really is a guy you want to tickle. The rub is that it's him who does all the tickling. He's not know throughout Ontario as the Toronto Tickler for nothing.
