Just want to wish everyone a merry Christmas/happy holidays. The brutal year we've had on the planet and our own particular loss of 101Walterton has reinforced how good and special the community is here. You're all fantastic people, whether you're amusing and intriguing me or pissing me off. Hugs, manly and affectionate, to you all.
Double plus to all this. My life is inarguably richer, happier and fuller for having all of you in it and this year has made me appreciate more than ever how important you all are to me. Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all you weird, wonderful people. I literally can't imagine being without you all.

Anyone else have a white Christmas? We got a light 5-inch dusting of snow north of Buffalo that began after dark on Christmas Eve and just ended a couple hours ago. First snow of the year, other than a few flakes here and there. It looks great, with all the Christmas lights on houses. I’m just in from an hour and a half of snow-blowing. Feels good to sit down.

Green as could be in Ottawa. We had a whole bunch of rain on the 24th that washed away what little snow we had.

No snow here either. It's been in low 40's over night, mid 60's daytime, but rains headed this way tomorrow they say.

I’d prefer a green Christmas, but it does look nice right now with a bit of white. Rain’s coming Tuesday, and then hopefully back to mostly green by the end of the week. I only ran the snowblower once all last winter, so I was just glad it started up on the second pull.

That sounds great, temp wise. We were at 51 early on the 24th, but it dropped quickly and the rain turned to snow. That tied our high for the month. We last hit 60 in mid November.

This is the view out my back window at midnight. Fairly Christmasy, especially with the IMCT snowflakes falling.

Yeah, I live in the mountains and we had a few feet of snow on the ground. Less than usual, but still a solidly white christmas.
