Very cool. I remember years ago hearing my daughter singing Dirty Old Town. She would do snippets o f songs from London Calling too.

I was in a big Pogues/Shane/Clash/Joe phase.

Brilliant.

Odd how YouTube recommendations follow you around the web; the next video after that one to click was druggie guru Terrance McKenna, which was incongrouous.

Most excellent. Now that just shows if the Clash had went on TOTP it could have been a number one.

Baby sister arrived this Friday. All in all, easier than big sister and J9 is doing well. Junie is obsessed with her, though we will see for how long.

Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Congratulations to you all! And happy belated birthday to little Clarencia Clemonstine.

Congratulations to all of you!! Glad to hear everyone is doing well and yes, she probably won't stay obsessed with her forever ;). I find myself reminding my son on a regular basis to be thankful he has a little sister.
