Got new glasses today, digressive lenses rather than progressive (just like how I write and talk). Went for frames that make me look slightly less perma-peeved.

My mother went into a nursing home after a fall that presumably gave her a concussion. She rapidly went downhill from there, but one of her recurring scenarios was that the RCMP were breaking into her room while she slept and stealing from her. She was usually lucid enough to know that wasn't true, but she was still compromised enough that she couldn't understand why she was having these false beliefs.
