Cold, dirty, dreary, depressing day in the Upper Midwest today. Perfect day for listening to the 'Mats. This photo was from the summer of 2021.

Forces have been looting
My humanity
Curfews have been curbing
The end of liberty
We're the flowers in the dustbin...
No fuchsias for you.

I took this one yesterday. Huge "last known location" energy.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

Got new glasses today, digressive lenses rather than progressive (just like how I write and talk). Went for frames that make me look slightly less perma-peeved.

Oh geez, I remember having those discussions with my grandpa. He tried to recruit my friend and I to "bust him out".Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑07 Oct 2024, 2:24pmI think the nurses are stealing my money.revbob wrote: ↑07 Oct 2024, 2:23pmYou look confused.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑07 Oct 2024, 2:16pmGot new glasses today, digressive lenses rather than progressive (just like how I write and talk). Re: so... what's your favorite picture of yourself?
My mother went into a nursing home after a fall that presumably gave her a concussion. She rapidly went downhill from there, but one of her recurring scenarios was that the RCMP were breaking into her room while she slept and stealing from her. She was usually lucid enough to know that wasn't true, but she was still compromised enough that she couldn't understand why she was having these false beliefs.revbob wrote: ↑07 Oct 2024, 2:26pmOh geez, I remember having those discussions with my grandpa.
