Like most good and honest people, I never saw it.

I haven't either, I just thought it was a good opportunity to be a wit.

I saw it. It had Henry Rollins and Ice-T . I read a fair bit of cyberpunk back in the day and that was based on a William Gibson short story.
I dont recall the details of either now. Story was good movie was lesser.

I've tried reading Gibson several times. The premises are always to enticing and then the actual text leaves me confused/bored. I'm just not well suited for the style.revbob wrote: ↑21 Jan 2021, 7:15pmI saw it. It had Henry Rollins and Ice-T . I tend to like Neal Stephenson better. But I cant sign up for some of his stuff I see the size of some of his books and I wonder if there's a cliff notes version. And cliff notes always reminds me of the old Cosby show episode where the son reads the ckiff notes version of a book and gets a C or B on the test. And I thought he must not be too bright because I used those things throughout high school to get A's.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑21 Jan 2021, 7:26pmI've tried reading Gibson several times. I tried his Snow Crash because it was highly recommended, but I gave up after three or four chapters. I can eat up pretty much any noir, but I just struggle getting the proper mindset for most sci-fi.revbob wrote: ↑21 Jan 2021, 7:31pmI tend to like Neal Stephenson better.
