Say what you will about Canada but it was really impressive at the opening game of the Stanley Cup playoffs as the singer of the Canadian national anthem stopped singing into the microphone after two lines or so and let the crowd sing the song - and they did, loudly and proudly. That doesn't happen in the US.

More indicative of the national mood than what would normally happen. Trump has awakened a defensive nationalism that hasn't existed here since long before I was born. But that is nevertheless pretty cool that the crowd picked up on the intent.
