This is what happens when you let the algorithm pick the photo. Unless it's just been revealed the Bank of Canada is run by dogs, which would seem to be a bigger story than a rate cut.
Is the 50 beats per second or 50 bits per second?

Hello,

I didn't like Guy LaFleur when I was a kid—he was a Hab; I hated the Habs—but I recognize him now as both supremely talented and a figure of real charisma in a way that happens so rarely.

I have this (relatively) new coworker from Toronto. She is really sweet and I like her a lot, but I am convinced she is over-exaggerating her accent. It's like a stereotype amped up by a thousand. I've never heard a Canadian speak like she does, and I know every hockey player.

The farther Canadians are from the border, the more anxious we become and so we protect ourselves in our accent cocoon. It's purely instinctual.

The only thing positive about that—aside from any money raised and donated, of course—is the story where the producer tells Neil Young that he's out of tune, and NY says, "Hey, that's my style, man."

A right-leaning polling company found that 6% supported annexation. I'd guess that 90% of those are in Western Canada.
