Ottawa Blues Fest. While there are some legit blues artists WTF?

I guess we should be thankful The Barenaked Ladies aren't on the bill.

Shania Twain is also on the bill, no doubt filling the slot for Celine Dion.
I'm sure the one-armed drummer has the blues!
Is he still even around?

He's the most interesting part of the band. You don't get rid of that.

I confess a nostalgic love for the old stubbies, even tho they were gone by the time I was drinking with any regularity.

I'm not sure if anybody here is old enough to remember these, friends grandfather used to drink them and always let us grab a couple. Lucky Lager (swill beer) with the puzzles on the bottoms of the caps.

This is tangential, but those caps bring back memories of pop bottles having plastic rubber liners underneath the cap. Sometimes the companies would run contests and you pulled out the liners to see if you won a free Coke or something like that.

Related to that was potato chips in metal foil bags—or maybe it was just Hostess that did that—and scratch-off spots inside for prizes.
