Oh yeah, The Wayne has pissed away his living legend status in the last couple years. But cozying up with the MAGA crowd tells me he doesn't give a fuck what Canadians think anyway.

Read some of the comments on that post, sounds like his politics aren't very popular with his fellow countrymen.

We're a long ways away from when his trade to the Kings was treated as a major national identity crisis.

Just back from our neightbourhood grocery store. The clerk said I missed Justin by a couple minutes. I mentioned that supposedly his ex lives nearby and he said, yup, she’s in regularly. She doesn’t have a security detail, but he said Justin had a half dozen guys. So, he's out of a job and has to buy his own groceries now like a peasant. Hard times, hard times …

In our neighbourhood—the safest Liberal riding in Canada—neither should the former prince. Perhaps he's obliged to have them for now, or maybe he's too much of a dumb rich kid to know how to do things by himself.

Yeah, just fucking around. But I do recall seeing our previous senator Pat Leahy out and about and he definitely had a security detail with him. Cant recall if that was before or after he retired

Uh, I don't see half a dozen guys. Surely this photo isn't selectively framed!!!

Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

I'm partially interested in the background. "Oh this is Doc's world" and trying (and failing) to find it to be particularly noteworthy.

I heard that next on his day was a trip to Canadian Tire (a big ol' hardware/automotive chain). There's a real divorced-dad-setting-up-his-efficiency-apartment quality to it all. I'd like to think there's a hot plate in his cart.

Quite the fall from the guy that was banging Ivanka. I guess he’s going for zaddy vibes?
